It was closed with a cork and, as it can be seen on medieval representations, worn on the pilgrim’s staff or on the belt. Today you can still find illustrations of the pilgrim with his calabash on signs on the Camino de Santiago.

Our Calabazas with the red Jacob’s Cross are offered as ornamental objects. Since they are natural products, they differ in size from each other.
