The pilgrim’s bag by Pilgino includes:

• Pilgrim shell (with red Jacob’s Cross): THE universal symbol of the pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago since the Middle Ages
• about 4 m of leash, which can serve as a clothesline in hostels, but also e.g. used for all sort of hacks like repairs of the backpack.
• 12 large safety pins (50 mm), for all kind of repairs. E.g. repairing or drying clothes on the trip attached to the backpack as used by many pilgrims. (No wind blowing the T-shirt from the leash in the hostel accidents). Others use them to airdry their hiking socks while walking, they are pinned on the back of the backpack.
• Small sewing set with needle, thread, small scissors, fishing line, etc. (see description on sewing set). For small repairs on clothes. It has been proven that almost every pilgrim needs needle and thread in between. Additionally, a needle and thread (and possibly scissors) are helpful utensils in the treatment of blisters (see blister advice).
• Ear plugs, 2 pairs, from Moldex in a convenient and hygenic storage box. That way all the snores in the hostels lose their terror.
• The incredible Spork (or in German: Göffel): The combination of fork and spoon (including cutting edge as a knife replacement) is a practical helper at every pilgrim’s pitstop and in all the hostels, which have no or a poorly equipped kitchen. The spork is made of sturdy (almost unbreakable) plastic and thus withstands easily harsh treatment in a backpack.
• A shell-formed german candy to give away as a gift, or for a successful sweet break.

With its weight of about 540 g, the Skin Mirco Lite is lighter than most mattresses made of foamed materials. The low weight is achieved mainly by the „mummy cut“ (similar to sleeping bags) and by large air channels in the filling foam. The thermal protection is increased by the large air channels. A small disadvantage is the set-up time of the self-inflating mattress, due to its self-inflating nature it takes a bit longer than simply spreading out a foam mattress.

The Skin Micro Lite is covered with ARTISTRETCH, an elastic, rubber-like material (polyurethane). The extremely slip-resistant material (no sliding on the cold ground at night), and the adjustability of the elastic surface adapt better to the bumps in the floor (reducing the risk of holes) and thus deliver significantly more surface for the body. This bonus improves the comfort of lying, and makes the Skin Micro Lite easily superior to other mats of the same thickness (3 cm).

(Caution: Due to the dark colour (grey) and the consistency of the material, this mat is slightly more sensitive to direct sunlight. Please be aware of this fact and do not leave it lying around in direct sunlight for longer periods of time.)

For ease of use, the Skin Micro Lite is equipped with the patented ROUNDLIP® valve by Trangoworld. This valve offers an extra locking system that additionally protects the lips from injury, and allows easy opening and closing of the valve during inflating of the mat.

Speed ​​Lock: With the easy-to-understand Khumbu Antishock, LEKI sets new standards in the holding power feature for adjustable trekking poles. These poles hold more than the required 60 kg by the TÜV. The Khumbu Antishock offer a safety reserve that can be life-critical. A readjustment of the holding force is possible at any time. Damping System: The SAS Lite antishock damping system located in the lower part of the pole reduces impact force, thereby relieving joints and ligaments. The impact energy is being absorbed directly into the lower part of the trekking pole and thus relieving the body. This outstanding adjustment system received the highest safety reserve marks at the TÜV and in all other tests.
